A lambiekstoemper is a small tool used to crush a sugar cube into an overly sour gueuze or lambic. It is also the name of the beer‑tasting association of the Pajottenland and Zenne Valley. During this walk, you will certainly have the opportunity to taste the region’s typical beers.
Halle has eight lambic cafés, five of which lie along this walking route. These are: Den Herberg (Oct de Kerchove d'Exaerdestraat 16, 1501 Buizingen), De Kluis (Nachtegaalstraat 128, 1501 Buizingen), ’t Parlement (Klinkaert 10–19, 1500 Halle), Den Obelix (Grote Markt 12, 1500 Halle), and De Sleutel (Grote Markt 30, 1500 Halle).
